FUNDamentals of Research

For nearly thirty years, the SU Foundation has provided funding for undergraduate student research projects, which are administered through SU’s Institute for Public Service. During its first year, the program provided $3,500 for eight applications. For the 2015- 16 academic year, more than $60,000 funded sixty applications. Here’s a glimpse of the funding available for student research at Ship in 2016:

on-campus housing

The SU Foundation also established $771,500 in new endowments through the Charting the Course, Lighting the Way Capital Campaign to fund future joint undergraduate student/faculty research projects.
